Hi everyone! Please share this page. The more followers we pull in, the more I can write! I'm an Emmy Award-winning journalist from Geneva, Illinois who spent 20 years in local television, radio, and sports broadcasting in places like Indianapolis, Phoenix, Rockford and Chicago.

However, I started out as a newspaper writer just like my grandfather and his father before him. After being frustrated by today's toxic newsroom, I went back to school and earned a pair of Master's degrees in education. Now I work for a school district in Northern Illinois.

My goal is to write stories and columns that you can relate to. Whether its experience that you shared in everyday life or sports opinions you would argue about while watching the game, this is the forum for you.
