Hi everyone! I'm an Emmy Award-winning journalist from Geneva, Illinois who spent 20 years in local television, radio, and sports broadcasting in places like Indianapolis, Phoenix, Rockford and Chicago.

However, I started out as a newspaper writer just like my grandfather and his father before him. After being tired of today's toxic newsroom, I went back to school and earned a pair of Master's degrees. Now I'm a high school teacher and varsity coach.
